Welcome to all the new students in all our locations who are starting their Taekwon-Do journeys. You will find the road exciting and challenging. Attending classes regularly is the best secret to your success. Always remember that our office is open to help with any problems you may encounter. Enjoy the upcoming experiences and keep up the good work.

Below is what’s happening in the month of February:

Closures:

Halifax school will be closed on Wednesday February 29th for testing.

All students who are not testing are encouraged to train at the other location during the testing closure nights.

Class Changes:

Saturday morning classes in Sackville will be until further notice: Black Belt class 8:30-9:30am Family class 12-1pm

Storm policy:

In the case of extreme weather conditions please call 865-2753 to see if our schools are open. If we do not answer please wait for the answering machine to give you the necessary updates. We make our decision and will have the update at 4pm in most cases.

March Break Camp:

Hiltz Taekwon-Do will be holding March Break camp on March 12-16th. Information on the schedule and events are on the bulletin boards at the dojangs. We have limited space so get your name on the list ASAP. The children will be learning Taekwon-Do and having a lot of fun with the other scheduled events. Signup lists are posted.

Tournaments and Seminars:

February 19th- Nova Scotia ITF Provincial Championship. Canada Games Center

March 24th - Eastern Canadian Championship in Quebec

April 21st - HiltzTaekwon-Do annual tournament.

June- Pan-Am Championship in Quebec

October 4th to 7th- World Cup in Brighton England

November 4th and 5th – National Championship in Quebec

ITF World Championships
Date: June 2013
Location: Benidorm, Spain

Tournament Training:

This class is a must for students wishing to improve their skills in the areas of technical development and sparring. What a great way for students to prepare for upcoming tournament competitions. This class is on Friday nights from 8:15-9:15pm. This class will start back on Friday January 6th.

February 3rd- Sparring February 10th- Technical February 17th – Provincial tune up February 24th- Sparring

Hiltz Taekwon-Do Face book Group:

We are pleased to invite all students, parents, and friends of Hiltz Taekwon-Do to join our new face book group. This is a great way for you to stay informed of all events, important club issues, schedule or time changes, and cancellations, ECT. Feel free to share club photos, videos, as well as any questions, comments or concerns about Taekwon-Do you might have.

Testing this month:

There will be testing in Sackville on Saturday February 25th starting at 1pm.

Halifax testing will be on Monday February 29th starting at 6pm.
